SP_Autostats is a really convenient way to see what statistics exist for a table and whether they are active or not. We'll show you how to view all the stats, change their status, and even use it to change a single statistic on a table.

It is interesting that auto stats can be turned on or off at the stats level, I am not sure what good it would be to manage stats at such a fine level. Perhaps a future video could explain that. As always, thank you for the tip!

Not sure what autostats is for, so doesn't help much to know how to use it. Yes, I can read BOL yada yada but then i was hoping for something complete in this video. Explain the value first before explaining how - thanks anyway
